Hi All.....

Now i like to share with you the interesting place to travel in Malaysia (SABAH)

Sabah is located at northern tip of Borneo and popular as the world's 3rd largest island.  It has a lot of the most beaches and islands in the world. As you know, Sabah is known as
"THE LAND BELOW THE WIND"

Did you know, Kota Kinabalu, its capital, is a developing commersial centre amd holiday destination. Kota Kinabalu offers a lot of attractions such as the Gaya Street Fair, Tanjung Aru Beach, the State Museum, the State Mosque, the water villages and the islands nearby.There are a lot of hotels and resorts also.

There also has over 30 different ethic groups in Sabah, each with their own customs and festivals. The most popular festival is Kaamatan festival which is celebrated by The Kadasandusun. It is celebrated after a successful rice harvest in May every year. The festival is popular with traditional dances.

The TAMU is weekly open bazaar. The different people of sabahgather to sell their products like food, fruits, vegetables, handicraft and even buffaloes. The most interesting TAMU can be found in Kota Belud. There, the Bajaus gather in their traditional costumes on horses to make the TAMU more colorful. Sabah also offers many interestings  places to visit and exciting activities to do.

The rainforests in Sabah are some of the oldest in  the world. Exotic flora and fauna abound. Pitcher plants that gulp down insects and flies.Wild orchids of every imaginable hue. Of course, there have the largest and unic flower in the world known as rafflesia.

While take a river boat ride, you can see the unique Proboscis monkey with its long, pendulous red nose calling out to its mate. But the star of the rainforest here is un doubtedly the orang utan, also known as  the
" WILD MAN OF BORNEO".  We can find them swinging through the forest in Sepilok, the world's largest orang utan sanctuary. In this sanctuary, orang utan that have been  abandoned  by their mothers, or were formerly in captivity, are rehabilitated until fit enough to be returned to the wild.

For those who love to snokel and swim, the island of Sipadan is the right place to visit. It is situated off the east coast of Sabah. The island is famous for its marine life and corals. there are uncrowded beach of pure white sand under bright blue tropical skies that await to capture your heart.hehe..
